Biography

William Sherlock Dupree worked for the Chinese Maritime Customs before joining Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd in 1912. He was employed as the company's Agent at Changchun, Hankow and Harbin until his retirement in 1941. He rejoined the firm during the Second World War, working at Chungking and New York, before retiring again in 1946.
