Original property letters from Jardine Matheson, Chungking, to Matheson & Co. Ltd, London:

2. Nos P.21-33 from G.P. Charlton and (mainly) H.H. Lennox to B.D.F. Beith, 7 January-12 September 1944.

3. Nos P.34-42 from H.Y. Hsu, H.H. Lennox and A. Wright to W.J. Keswick, 10 April-30 November 1945.

The letters enclose copies of correspondence and other papers, including copies of letters nos 10 (18 August 1943), 11 (24 August 1943), 20 (6 October 1943), 24 (15 November 1943), 1 (7 January 1944), 18 (27 June 1944), 20 (10 July 1944) and 28 (12 September 1944) from Jardine Matheson, Chungking, to Balfour, Guthrie & Co. Ltd, New York; semi-official letter no. 48 from Jardine Matheson, Chungking (unsigned), to B.D.F. Beith, Matheson & Co. Ltd, London, 18 January 1944; other correspondence of Jardine Matheson, Chungking; and copies of agreements and contracts.
