Biography

Henry Hector Tod joined Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd in 1926 and was employed in mainland China and Hong Kong, including in the Shipping Department and as the company's Agent at Canton, Swatow and Tientsin. He later joined the Private Office at Shanghai. He retired in 1958. He was the brother of Christopher Thompson Tod, who also worked for the company.
