Biography
David Locke Newbigging joined Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd in December 1919 and was employed in China and Hong Kong, 1920-1947, in a number of positions, including Joint and Acting Agent at Tientsin and, latterly, in the Private Office at Hong Kong and Shanghai. He was a Director of the company, 1938-1947.
