Biography
Alexander Kidd was employed by the Jardine Engineering Corporation Ltd, then Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd, in mainland China and Hong Kong from 1918 until the early 1950s. He was in charge of the Jardine Engineering Corporation Ltd's show room for many years before taking charge of its operations in Shanghai. He worked subsequently for the Corporation in Tientsin before switching to Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd.
