A 1988 Spitting Image calendar. The item features plasticine model illustrations by Spitting Image Productions Limited on the cover and for each month (SI/31, 107 to 17; and L+F/107), with further artwork designed by the company, Shape of Things. The calendar was printed by Danilo Publishing Limited.
Commonwealth Royal Tour, 1953-1954
The principal part of the collection is a set of programmes and guides prepared for the different legs of the Royal Tour. These are supplemented by related correspondence and papers compiled by the Royal Empire Society and others. The collection is in English with the exception of one item in English and Arabic.

This film (part one of a two-part film) records the Royal party leaving Buckingham Palace on January 31st 1947 to cheering crowds and boarding a train at Waterloo Station for Portsmouth. It records the Royal party boarding HMS Vanguard, entertainment on deck during the voyage, and their arrival at Cape Town on February 17th 1947.

This film (second part of a two-part film) records the Royal Party's visit to Kenilworth Racecourse, near Cape Town, the opening by the King of the Ninth Union Parliament, and the Royal Party's visit to Port Elizabeth. It closes with a brief African dancing scene.
