Newspapers, magazines, advertisements and other miscellaneous items produced by external publications and companies. The majority of the newspapers and magazines feature articles, interviews and other pieces relating to Spitting Image, and the wider activities of Spitting Image Productions Limited and its personnel, such as Roger Law, Peter Fluck, Tim Watts and David Stoten. Also found within the newspapers and magazines are examples of Spitting Image... puppets being used to illustrate articles about celebrities and politicians, but having no direct relation to the show itself. The advertisement section features commissioned work done by SIPL for external companies, such as Canon, Heineken, and Private Eye. Miscellaneous material present does not fit into the other three sections, and have been merged together into a file.

The material found in this section dates primarily between 1983 and 1998, when Spitting Image Productions Limited was active.
