Scope and Contents

Presumably this was used in the Master's Lodge before being passed to the Archives. It contains several pages at the front of the volume with entries by visiting members of the British Army and other foreign Army personnel; later there are four signatures on the occasions of the royal visits by HRH Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh and Princess Margaret between 1977-2000. The volume has continued to be used for visitors to the College Archives.

A set of nine ceramic eggcups modelled by Luck & Flaw, which bear caricature faces of the following British politicians and members of the royal family: Margaret Thatcher, Neil Kinnock, Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, Prince Andrew, Sarah Ferguson, two copies of a baby Prince William, and a baby Princess Beatrice. A large pair of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh 'Sleeping Partners' slippers, designed by Spitting Image Production Limited's David Stoten, and made by Linden Cards and Gifts Limited (SI/439). Each slipper resembles a bed, with a plastic head of the Queen residing on the end of one slipper and the head of Prince Philip on the other.
