Panorama, 1976 - 1980
Scope and Contents
A box containing 24 full issues and a tearsheet of the Dutch men's weekly magazine, Panorama, which feature Luck & Flaw plasticine model illustrations. The majority of the illustrations are part of a series, Koppen Kast, which ran every other week throughout 1977. This series depicted various Dutch and international politicians, British and Dutch royals, Dutch celebrities and other figures in a humorous fashion.
The following editions/item are present:
1. 5 November 1976 (No. 45) - page 60 contains an image of [future] President Jimmy Carter (L&F/30) and page 61 has an image of President Gerald Ford (L&F/125).
2. A tearsheet taken from a January 1977 issue (No. 2), which has an illustration of Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld (L&F/18); part of the Koppen Kast series.
3. 4 March 1977 (No. 9), which has an illustration of the Secretary General of NATO, Joseph Luns, on page 39; part of the Koppen Kast series (L&F/168).
4. 18 March 1977 (No. 11), which has an illustration of [future] British Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, on page 35; part of the Koppen Kast series (L&F/231).
5. 14 April 1977 (No. 13), which has an illustration of Dutch celebrity, André van Duin, on page 49; part of the Koppen Kast series (L&F/91).
6. 29 April 1977 (No. 17), which has an illustration of Princess Beatrix of the Netherlands on page 47; part of the Koppen Kast series (L&F/16).
7. 13 May 1977 (No. 19), which has an illustration of Princess Anne and Mark Phillips on page 47; part of the Koppen Kast series (RL/Pre-/698).
8. 3 June 1977 (No. 22), which has an illustration of Dutch Olympic swimmer, Enith Brigitha, on page 45; part of the Koppen Kast series (L&F/16).
9. 17 June 1977 (No. 24), which has an illustration of American politician, Edward Kennedy, on page 37; part of the Koppen Kast series (RL/Pre-/725).

24. 28 December 1979 (No. 52), which has an A Christmas Carol section, containing Luck & Flaw illustrations, on pages 52 to 59; not part of the Koppen Kast series (L&F/38, 42, 48, 51, 52 and 54).
25. 28 September 1980 (No. 39), which has an illustrated article on gnomes, on pages 58 to 63; not part of the Koppen Kast series (L&F/132-136).
Bob Cramp took the photographic image used in the 5 November 1976 issue. Those images originally marked with a RL/Pre-/number were taken by Brian Morris. John Lawrence Jones is the photographer for all other images, unless stated otherwise.
The reader is advised that some of the issues contain explicit female nudity.
