William Basil Cornaby was employed by Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd in China, Hong Kong and Japan, 1910-1948, including as the company's Agent at Foochow, Swatow and Tsingtao. He was seconded to Jardine Henderson Ltd, Calcutta, during 1945-1947.
