Scope and Contents A bond (in Portuguese) of Charles Magniac to Joaquim de Souza for the sum of 12,000 patacas, dated Macao, 26 November 1822. A note added to the bond on 21 November 1823 records that the debt been settled. An English note on the back of the document describes it as a bond to the Bishop of Macao.
