Bond of Charles Magniac, 1822-1823
A bond (in Portuguese) of Charles Magniac to Joaquim de Souza for the sum of 12,000 patacas, dated Macao, 26 November 1822. A note added to the bond on 21 November 1823 records that the debt been settled. An English note on the back of the document describes it as a bond to the Bishop of Macao.

A sworn declaration made by Charles Hope of London, tea broker, at Mansion House, London, 7 April 1854, attesting that he was acquainted with Charles Magniac, that he is also acquainted with Hollingworth Magniac of London, he being one of the executors and the sole residuary legatee named in Charles Magniac's will, and that Hollingworth Magniac is the same person mentioned in the exemplification of that will.
