Joseph Francis Feely was employed by Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd in China and Hong Kong, 1915-1941, working in the Shipping Department, and as Agent at Changsha, 1926-1927, and Swatow, 1928-1930. He worked for Matheson & Co. Ltd, London, 1946-1952, where he was engaged on Indo-China Steam Navigation Co. Ltd business.
