Biography

David Roderick Mackenzie was employed as an engineer for the Indo-China Steam Navigation Co. Ltd before working for Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd in mainland China and Hong Kong, 1910-1940. He was the company's Agent at Nanking and Peking before joining the Import Department at Shanghai after the closure of the Peking office.
