Two typescript copies of a short account of events in Jardine, Matheson & Co's history based on the reminiscences of F.H. Bugbird. The period covered is roughly 1885 to 1912, and the subjects include an order for cruisers by the Japanese, to be built by Armstrongs of Newcastle; the Oraguzuru Mine; the resignation of [H.V.] Henson from Jardine, Matheson & Co.; and the tale of the 'Peyang'. The typescript is entitled 'Mr. Bugbird's reminiscences. Given 19th May, 1938'.
