Biography

Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750), German composer. The copyist J. Barber describes himself at the end of the MS as 'music amanuensis to her Royal Highness the Princess Charlotte of Wales & Duke of Sussex, William Street, Tottenham Court Road, June 1811'. Barber was probably a music seller.
