Published Material, 1959 - 1975
Scope and Contents
Material that represents Roger Law's published output from the late 1950s to the mid-1970s. The vast majority of Law's professional work in this period is found in newspapers, magazines, and journals; both in major national and international outlets and also smaller niche publications. A significant proportion of his output is found in the following publications: The Observer, between 1962-1966; The Sunday Times Magazine, between 1966 and 1975; and Nova, between 1966 and 1975. Law's illustrations are also found in other formats, including calendars and books, which are represented here in this area of the archive.
While the contents of this section focus largely on Law's illustrations, he also engaged in other activites at publications, including acting as an art director; performing interviews and conducting research for journalists; and also writing articles himself. This work is also represented here, and should be consulted in tandem with the contents found in the Journalistic Material section.
