Melford Festival, 1964
Scope and Contents
A hardboard woodcut that contains a print design, which was used in promotional material to advertise the Melford Festival. The design features a representation of German composer, Johann Sebastian Bach, next to an organ, with some kind of settlement in the background (perhaps Long Melford). The print design/advertisement for the festival was used in British Petroleum's 1965 festivals calendar, and also appeared in various publications throughout 1964, including The Illustrated London News (RL/Pre-/1065).
