Twenty-five sheets or bifolia with notes of items and of dates, apparently compiled by Caldwell as a guide to items of interest to him recorded in college meeting books.
Memoranda of lands in Chatteris: a mini extent, 1500 - 1540
Nos 1, 12, 17-18, 21-22, 24, 26 and 28-31 relate to St Michael's parish, Cambridge, and are boxed in that sequence with XIII 1-24. Nos. 42, R5 not used.
Membrane 6 of 09/35/141 has records of the court baron at Chatteris for 1636 and 1639.

Memoranda re accounts, 1822 - 1829
Compiled by Thomas Greene, Bursar, 1822-28, but incorporating a notebook of earlier date, probably late 18th-century, itself with annotations dated 1801. The text deals with individual accounts (Library, Commons, Brewhouse, etc.). On the front cover a list of college books kept by the bursar.

Memoranda relating to a property in Wilbraham for 1671 to 1692., 1710
These documents take the form of rolls unless otherwise stated. Although the records are chiefly of Cambridge, rentals for Barnwell, Landbeach, Barton, Wilbraham Parva, Chatteris and Over are also to found. Later rentals also include records of annuities.
No. 33 is a terrier of Cambridge East Field and 38 relates to Barton so these are not listed in this series.
No. 64, which was out of sequence, has been re-numbered 73.1.
Memoranda relating to payments by stewards; list of arrears of rent, etc., 1576
Originally rolled together randomly as 'Old College accounts', many dating from the 1570s. Included among them were two stray leaves from the Liber Albus, a bifolium from the volume of College Accounts, 1479 to 1534.
For further accounts, chiefly relating to the college's suit against Thomas Aldrich, Master, and to its attempts to recover debts due from him see 02/M/17/1.

Sir William Portman (5th baronet) died in the Tower in 1645, having been expelled from Parliament in 1644. Sir William Portman (6th baronet) was born in 1643, son of the above and of Anna.

The hand is identifed as Treton's by Matthew Parker at the head of the document.

'For the private information of future Bursars. Memorandum, 25 April 1892. I am strongly of opinion that the portion of ground in which this pipe is laid does _not_ belong to the College - but is part of the Public Footpath. R.T.C.
