Colonel Bellairs C.B.-District Commandant, Transvaal, 1880 - 1881

A head and shoulder, three-quarter profile of Colonel (later Sir) William Bellairs (1828-1913) who came to Pretoria after an active military career as Brigadier General in charge of the Transvaal.
