Portrait showing the Revd. Robert Wright Stopford (1901-1976) seated at his desk in his office. The typewritten caption continues 'formerly Principal of Trinity College, Kandy, Ceylon and before that Senior History Master at Cundle [sic]'. Stopford taught at Oundle from 1925-34, was Principal of Trinity College from 1935-41, and Principal of Achimota 1941-45. He was later Bishop of Fulham (1955-56), Peterborough (1956-61) and London (1961-73).
