195 x 139 mm. A view showing the growth of the town outwards from the harbour. Small wooden houses line the road at the left of the picture, while buildings are starting to take hold along the roads leading up through the hills. Probably by William Meluish.

At the left a small part of the inadequate Dunedin jetty can be seen with Princes Street following the course of the waterfront. Probably by William Meluish. It was amongst the conglomeration of houses at the nearer end of the street that Meluish had his studio.

190 x 139 mm. A view looking across the Sound with a small island in the middle distance and mountains in the background. Dusky Sound us 25 miles long and in the last century was a visiting place for sealers. It is now part of the Fiordland National Park.

Early reminiscences of Auckland, 1931-06-23
A typescript 'to his Excellency the Governor General of New Zealand' (Lord Bledisloe), containing personal recollections written at Bledisloe's suggestion. The reminiscences begin with Morrow's arrival in New Zealand with his father in 1861, and include comments on government, land policy and the Maori Wars. The typescript is accompanied by 'Royal Commonwealth Society library notes', no. 51, March 1961, comprising a verbatim copy of the typescript with an introductory note.

209 x 143 mm. A view of the hospital, showing the verandahs, balconies, and elaborate iron-work rails outside the wards. These original buildings have long since been swallowed up in the growth of the hospital, forming a nucleus for the considerable accretions on all sides.
