In the centre of the print, running north, is Bazar Gate Street, with the NE corner of the Maidan visible at the top left of the photograph. This print forms the central portion of a six part panorama of the city from the cathedral extending 180°. Y3022A/12, 13, 8, 10, 11, 9 provide a continuous view from west to east.

Six pen and pencil sketches presumably by Colonel Cooper, all but two of which are undated. There are two accompanying letters, 9 and 10 July 1968, regarding the transfer of the collection to the R.C.S.
Sketches of the University of Hong Kong, 1951 - 1964
Fourteen undated sketches depicting views of the University of Hong Kong, many of which have since disappeared under high-rise developments. Twelve of the sketches are incorporated into Christmas cards from F.S. and D.M. Drake. The sketches are presumably from Drake's time as Professor of Chinese. There is an accompanying letter from Bernard Drake to T.A. Barringer, R.C.S. Librarian, 7 December 1996.
