A collection of prints of various sizes. A number of the earlier prints have evidently been removed from the pages of an album. The collection is divided up as follows:
1-19 Views in India (Mussoorie, Muttra and Hurdwar), 1890s-1900s, mainly commercial work but with some amateur snapshots
20-26 Postcards of India, early 1900s
27-37 Snapshots of Southern Rhodesia, 1920s-1930s

Most of the prints have contemporary captions, and many in addition have titles written at a later date by the donor in a hand very difficult to decipher. The captions have been used as titles and have been recorded as found. Titles composed by the cataloguer are enclosed in square brackets. Several of the photographs relate to the donor's youth. Photographs by S.H. Dagg, Thomas A. Rust and others unknown.
