Margaret Thatcher Teapot, c 1980-c 1987
Scope and Contents
A ceramic teapot with accompanying lid that is made in the image of Margaret Thatcher's head. The teapot has a glossy, white finish, which has a slight green tint.
The teapot was modelled by Luck & Flaw. It is unclear whether this item was made by the original manufacturers of the teapot, English Ironstone Tableware and Gill Wing Ceramics, or if it is one of the later examples made by Carlton Ware, which handled production in 1987.
