A set of nine ceramic eggcups modelled by Luck & Flaw, which bear caricature faces of the following British politicians and members of the royal family: Margaret Thatcher, Neil Kinnock, Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, Prince Andrew, Sarah Ferguson, two copies of a baby Prince William, and a baby Princess Beatrice. All eggcups have a white glossy finish.
Margaret Thatcher Teapot Development and Production Correspondence, 1980 - 1982
Margaret Thatcher Teapots and Ronald Reagan Coffeepot, 1980 - 1981
Three Luck & Flaw Margaret Thatcher teapots, modelled in 1980, along with a President Ronald Reagan coffeepot, modelled in 1980 but stamped as being produced in 1981. The three Thatcher teapots differ in glaze: one is glossy with a hint of green in its otherwise white colouring; one has a white matte finish; and the final teapot has a matte blue-green mottled finish, which was made at the Dartington Pottery Training Workshop. The Reagan coffeepot has a white glossy finish.
Mugs, 1983 - 1988
Prince Charles Loving Cups, 1981
Two copies of a Prince Charles [afterwards King Charles III] loving cup, which was modelled by Luck & Flaw in 1981, as memorabilia for the royal wedding between Charles and Lady Diana Spencer. Both loving cups have a white glossy finish. However, the finish on one of the cups has a darker/slight green tinge.
The manufacturer of the loving cups is likely Gill Wing Ceramics.
