Scope and Contents

A set of nine ceramic eggcups modelled by Luck & Flaw, which bear caricature faces of the following British politicians and members of the royal family: Margaret Thatcher, Neil Kinnock, Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Philip, Prince Andrew, Sarah Ferguson, two copies of a baby Prince William, and a baby Princess Beatrice. All eggcups have a white glossy finish.

Scope and Contents A file containing manuscript and typescript letters regarding the development and production of Luck & Flaw's Margaret Thatcher teapot. A large portion of the letters received are from Brunswick Ceramic Services (BCS), which designed the mould for the teapot and worked with a number of potteries to produce samples, before it appears both Gill Wing Ceramics and English Ironstone Company were settled upon to manufacture the finished product. Margaret Thatcher Teapots and Ronald Reagan Coffeepot, 1980 - 1981

Scope and Contents

Three Luck & Flaw Margaret Thatcher teapots, modelled in 1980, along with a President Ronald Reagan coffeepot, modelled in 1980 but stamped as being produced in 1981. The three Thatcher teapots differ in glaze: one is glossy with a hint of green in its otherwise white colouring; one has a white matte finish; and the final teapot has a matte blue-green mottled finish, which was made at the Dartington Pottery Training Workshop. The Reagan coffeepot has a white glossy finish.

Scope and Contents A set of ceramic mugs modelled by Luck & Flaw, which bear a resemblance to the following politicians: Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, leader of the Labour Party, Michael Foot; and President Ronald Reagan.
