This group of documents, were found roughly bundled together and were labelled by Masters: 'Old receipts etc.' They appear to have been kept on a single file. Items 1 to 10 related to transactions in which Brunne himself was involved. The remainder he might perhaps have collected as precedents or as aides-memoire.
Indenture of lease (both parts) of a messuage in St Mary's parish to Alan of Wells for a sum of money, 10s rent to the Prior of Hatfield and 4s rent to the Gild, 1306-09-28
The messuage was the Cutlery in St Mary’s parish, between the messuages of Hugh Godchep and the grantee, held by John le Furbour of the grantors for life.
