300 x 250 mm. View north-east, probably from St. Andrew's bastion, showing Marsamxett Harbour and the Cathedral rising above the houses and fortifications. The Cathedral, whose construction was paid for by the Dowager Queen Adelaide, was constructed in 1839-1842, the architect of the distinctive spire being William Scamp.

215 x 290 mm. The village of Zabbar is south-east of the harbour area. The Parish Church of Our Lady of Grace was begun by Tomasso Dingli in 1641, but the west front and towers were not completed until 1738-42.
