Scope and Contents

300 x 250 mm. View north-east, probably from St. Andrew's bastion, showing Marsamxett Harbour and the Cathedral rising above the houses and fortifications. The Cathedral, whose construction was paid for by the Dowager Queen Adelaide, was constructed in 1839-1842, the architect of the distinctive spire being William Scamp.
