F.H.H. Guillemard: Journals and notes
The collection is comprised of nine volumes of journal entries and notes written during the voyage of the 'Marchesa' and one volume of notes for Guillemard's biography of Ferdinand Magellan. Some of the volumes include lists of letters sent home by Guillemard during his voyage to eastern Asia, China and Japan, which provide a rough itinerary of his journey.

A description by F. Graham Smith of the visit made by himself and C.G. Wynne to China in October 1977, during which they visited various observatories, 14 pages, dated 28 October 1977. There is also an appendix comprised of a supplementary report by Wynne describing his experiences in China, 4 pages, dated 9 November 1977, and a paper on astronomy in China, 3 pages.
