 File
Reference Code: GBR/3437/AJBW/3/26
Scope and Contents The thematic reach of this group, designated as 'Islands' before the time of its accession to the archives, is actually very mixed in topic. Pelops Cruise, 1903

 File
Reference Code: GBR/3437/AJBW/3/7
Scope and Contents This large album was assembled by Wace scrapbook style, with a mixture of print size and print types (gelatin silver and cyanotypes) of the 'Pelops' Aegean cruise in 1903. It has a much more informal feel than the previous two albums of the same cruise, which carefully document the progress of the cruise and the archaeological sites visited in order of the original itinerary. This is more of a joyous riot of memories of an extremely happy time when Wace was 24 and very new to travelling...
