Scope and Contents
Formal souvenir of the 1923 Pratt Cruise on the yacht Zion owned by American millionaire and philanthropist George D. Pratt. Labelled monochrome prints together with professionally taken, photos. Sites photographed include the Propylaea and Parthenon, Aegina, Delos (including Temple of Isis, Agora of Hermaists, Colossus of Naxians, House of Dionysus, Cynthian Cave), Paros, Melos and possibly also Santorini. The photos are combination of images of archaeological sites and features, landscape and seascape pictures as well as people.

Soft back photograph album, black card cover with the title 'Photographs' printed in gold type, loose black paper leaves, all bound togeher on the left, short side with black cord. H. 26 x W. 33.5 cm
Photographs are pasted directly on to the recto of the leaves, displaying 2 photographs of the smaller size to a leaf or one larger photograph to a leaf, each photograph sized either 8.5 x 14.5 cm or 24 x 18.5 cm.
The album is in good condition.
Foliated on the top right of the recto by the Archivist.
The photographs are all monochrome, gelatin silver prints in very good condition.
