Scope and Contents
Copies of semi-official correspondence between Matheson & Co. Ltd, London, and Jardine Matheson, Tokyo, with enclosed letters and papers. There are also some telegrams of Jardine Matheson, Tokyo. From 1961 the volumes include small sets of semi-official correspondence between Tokyo and Taipei. The correspondents are I.F. Aucott, B.E. Bolton, J.J.G. Brown, H. Flint, S.R. Hawke, J.H. Keswick, W.J. Keswick, M.P. Keyes, D.W.N. Landale, G.Y. Matsumura, D.B. Nelson, L. Norris, F.A. Pollock, A. Reid, J.S. Riggs, W.E.D. Smith and E.F. Watts.
