Scope and Contents In 1996/1997, Royal Mail commissioned Spitting Image Productions Limited to create a set of stamps on the theme of horror. SIPL produced two stamps featuring plasticine model illustrations, one of Bela Lugosi as Dracula and the other of Boris Karloff as Frankenstein's Monster. The photographic images of these models were taken by SIPL staff member, Steve Bendelack.
