Biography

Chan U Seek was born in Ipoh, Malaysia. He became an executive director of Henry Waugh & Co. Ltd at Singapore in 1955, and helped to expand its activities in Indonesia after the company became a part of the Jardine Matheson Group. He was appointed the Director of Aviation and Armaments of Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd in 1963. He resigned in 1970 to establish his own business.
