Biography
David Dunlop Bentley McLeod joined the Shipping Department of Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd at Hong Kong in 1957. He was employed by the company in Hong Kong, Taipei and Tokyo, and also worked for Jardine Waugh Ltd in Singapore. He was a Director of Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd, 1974-1983, and was appointed Deputy Managing Director in 1978, with responsibility for the company's Hong Kong-based operations. He retired in 1983.
