Correspondence and related papers regarding Jardine, Matheson & Co. Ltd's business with C.Y. Tung of Associated Maritime Industries Inc. and the Island Navigation Corporation, ship agents and ship brokers. Much of the material concerns the chartering of a new tanker ('Energy Evolution') by C.Y. Tung's group to B.P. for a period of 15 years. The tanker was built by the Sasebo Heavy Industries Co.
