Access to the collection is subject to special conditions and is at the discretion of Matheson & Co. Ltd, part of the Jardine Matheson Group. Language of Materials
I1-28 were constituted from papers of the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries which had formed part of one of the early accessions to the archive. This material was supplemented subsequently by papers from later in the twentieth century received from 2010 onwards. These later accessions also included material for new companies, which were assigned to new series, I29-53.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
The series is composed of material from an early accession to the archive supplemented by later papers received from Matheson & Co. Ltd, London, from 2010 onwards.
