Scope and Contents This series comprises one file for each student enrolled for a graduate degree. For the period 1920-37, files also survive for unsuccessful applicants for admission. Each file contains correspondence, circulars, references, supervisor's and examiners' reports, and occasionally degree certificates from other institutions, off-prints, and photographs. From 1920, the graduate degrees awarded were Ph.D, M.Sc., M.Litt. and Diploma in International Law. From October 1952, the series includes files...

Conditions Governing Access: These files are closed to scholars for 80 years from the date of matriculation in accordance with data protection legislation. Individual files may be produced for scholars in cases where the student and referees/examiners are known to be dead.
