Preference share certificates of the Bengal United Tea Co. Ltd, stamped as cancelled, held by individuals and companies, including the London General Investment Trust Ltd, McLeod, Russel & Co. Ltd and Mathesons Nominees Ltd. Some of the certificates include annotations, including notes of the death of shareholders. The first envelope contains a covering note, which reads 'Bengal United Tea Co., Ltd., Preference Share Certificates Cancelled. Capital Repayment of £1. November 1962'.
