The lease had been granted to William Shute on 8 June 1641 for 21 years.. The property lies next to the church of St Mary Abchurch and comprises a cellar with kitchen above and a yard or backside behind the kitchen, a hall over the kitchen with a little chamber adjoining, a chamber over the hall with a little chamber adjoining and above them a garret with a little room adjoining.
