Proposed reply to Lancelot Law Whyte's enquiry at the meeting on 21 Feb. as to the possibility of BT-H's manufacturing 8 trial W2 engines: if an order were placed on 1 March, and Power Jets supply a complete set of layout drawings of all details and assemblies, and no changes whatsoever are made, BT-H could issue the drawings for the limiting material in 6 weeks from date and complete the final drawings in 12 weeks from date; they could then complete 8 engines by the end of 1940 provided...
