Originally the Pins XII Catholic University College, the non-denominational university came into existence on January 1 1964. With the change of name of two of the participating states, it later became the University of Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland (U.B.L.S.). The Roma Campus was nationalized in October 1975 and thenceforward became the National University of Lesotho.

Scope and Contents Though the album is inserted here to avoid a gap in the numbering, it is not part of the Fisher Collection as such. It is however an album of the same type as those containing Fisher's own photographs and is labelled on the spine 'VIC South Africa Lectures IV, V, VI'. It appears to be a record album of the lantern slides used to accompany the Visual Instruction Committee lectures. From the captions it originally contained illustrations for the three lectures mentioned: Lecture IV: Karoo...
