Visit of Prince Adalbert of Prussia to Zanzibar, February 1905, 1905-02
219 x 149 mm. A view showing A.S. Rogers escorting Prince Adalbert past a guard of honour on the Palace Pier on Saturday February 11th 1905. The prince paid a short visit to Zanzibar while serving as a Lieutenant on board the German cruiser ‘Hertha’. The visit is reported in the ‘Zanzibar Gazette’ of February 15th 1905.
