'Dole Rural School - Zanzibar' [i.e. Zanzibar Island], 1940 - 1959
125 x 116 mm. The caption on the reverse reads 'Miss Lomas who is in charge of the pupil-teacher training, gives a practical geography lesson to the pupil-teachers of Dole. The lesson takes place on the highest point on the island near the school. This is one example of the new educational outlook practised in Dole Rural School'.
