Scope and Contents A collection of photographs assembled by Albert George Clark (b. 1880), a railway tunnel foreman working on the Malay Peninsula [Malaysia] on the construction of tunnels in Kelantan state, forming part of the railway line from Kuala Lipis north to Tumpat. The precise location of the tunnels has not been established, but Clark seems to have been based in or around the town of Kuala Krai. The photographs depict some social scenes, aspects of the tunnel construction and railway construction...
