Identified in the group are: Dr John Desmond GIMLETTE; John Whitehouse Ward HUGHES (1883-); Malayan Civil Service 1906-1937; served in Kelantan 1911-1913; British Resident, Negri [i.e. Negeri] Sembilan 1932-1937; William LANGHAM-CARTER; Mrs LANGHAM-CARTER; Thomas Watts CLAYTON; Mrs A.R. WHITE; Herbert Alfred ANDERSON; J. Stratton FERRIER; Mercantile Bank, Kelantan; Dr L.H. TAYLOR; Alan Greenwood MORKILL; John Milnes FAVELL (1877-); joined F.M.S. Survey Department 1909; served in Kelantan 1911-1915.

DateText: [or 1913] This print is dated on the reverse as about 1915. However, J.W.W. Hughes is stated in the Malay Civil Service Lists as being on leave from October 1913, so presumably the photograph was taken before this date.
