200 x 143 mm. A portrait of a group of Maori women standing and sitting in front of the entrance of an assembly house. This group are all in traditional costume, probably their finery especially brought out for the photographer. Two of the girls wear cloaks made from Kiwi feathers (kahu-kiwi) and one a cloak decorated with black cords (korowai).
