Illustrated story of an icon, 1801
690 x 420 mm single sheet which narrates the history of an icon in words and illustrations. The icon was swept away at sea and washed ashore near Mount Roia on Cyprus, where a monastery was built to celebrate its appearance. The abbot of the monastery, Joachim, and the painter, Kornaros of Crete, are named in the text.
