In the right foreground is the small Anglican Cathedral of Holy Trinity with the High Street beyond it running parallel to the shore.
View looking west, 1910
280 x 197mm. Good condition. A view looking west over the buildings of Accra towards the Korle Lagoon, with the High Street in the foreground and the Anglican Cathedral at the left of the print. In the foreground a tennis court and what looks like a row of fives courts can be seen. This print would appear to date the panorama to before 1915, since the prominent GPO building (see Y30448B) completed in that year, is not visible beyond and to the right of the cathedral.
